The Pilot Club is excited to announce a new Partner: Hangar Addons. Hangar Addons is a free flight simulator resource — a place to find and share addons, plan real routes, and talk to other pilots, for MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, and X-Plane.
Hangar Addons doesnt want to force you to sit through an advertisement before you can download an addon or view a flight plan. Hangar Addons will never throttle download speeds to push the user toward some paid tier. There is no paid tier. Every addon, every flight plan, every forum thread, every feature on the site is free to use, full stop. The most Hangar Addons will do to cover infrastructure costs is run plain inline advertisements around the site — the kind that sit quietly in a sidebar or between posts, not the kind that block what you came here to do. No pop-ups, no forced pre-roll, no "wait 15 seconds" countdown timers, no speed caps.
Most of the flight sim add-on sites that came before this one eventually leaned on exactly those tactics — download timers, ad walls, "premium" download speeds — to pay the bills. That model treats the community as something to be monetized rather than served. Hangar Addons wanted a version of this site that doesn't do that.
