Seabase Soiree - TPC Charters Airline Event - Winter 2025

The Pacific Northwest is a vast landscape of volcanoes, mountains, bays, and lakes. Active volcanoes and tectonic plate subduction contribute to the seismic activity of the region. However, the Juan de Fuca plate only converges with the North American Plate at a rate of 3-4cm per year, which leads to less seismic activity than would be otherwise expected. This region is also part of the Ring of Fire, an area of heightened seismic and volcanic activity.

Enjoy mountain crossings and water landings in our event this winter. GA pilots will be tasked with landing at 11 seabases up and down the coastal region, with the furthest north base requiring a hefty mountain crossing. Airline pilots will not be landing on water but will be exploring from Oregon to Alaska and everything in between! Ambitious pilots will earn 7,500 TPC points for completing jobs between all the GA and airline airports! (details below). Be sure to get out your cameras and share your best screenshots on discord!

This event starts at 00:00:01z on December 1st and runs through 24:00:00z December 31st.

Airliners

Airline pilots need not fret about the name: you will not be expected to pull any Captain Sully moves and land on water. Instead, you will be criss-crossing mountains to reach 10 airports near the Pacific coastline and further inland. Watch out for that mountain wave turbulence! Our airliner routes will take you between 700-1300nm, so you will want to choose a capable regional jet. Be sure to reference runway lengths before choosing!

All airliners will begin at KGTF, and you will receive points for each job you complete to a new airport. Therefore, your first job will net you 1000 points, and you will receive 500 for each additional job. Completing jobs between all the airliner airports will earn you 500 bonus points! You must take a job for the flight to count.

GA Aircraft

Grab your favorite seaplane for this event, as there will be no asphalt for the GA pilots to land on. Twelve seabases along the Pacific Coast await!

All GA aircraft will begin at CBE8. 500 TPC points will be given for each job completed to a new airport, which means you will get 1000 points for your first flight out of Moose Lake. Additionally, a bonus of 500 points will be given for visiting all the seabases. You must complete a job for the flight to count.
