TPC Charters launches airliner OPs

Airliners are here!

TPC Charters – The Pilot Club’s Virtual Airline - is excited to announce that thanks to the dedicated flying of our pilots to build our bank balance we are now ready to commence routine airliner operations!

At TPC Charters our primary aim is to enable our pilots to have fun doing the kind of flying they enjoy, but with the added challenge of building a successful airline by picking, planning and flying a profitable job and collaborating with fellow pilots to land the biggest jobs from our growing network of FBOs. Now the airliner jockeys get to join our GA crews!

We will be starting our airliner fleet with:

  • Airbus A320 (Fenix)

  • Airbus A320Neo (FBW)

  • Boeing 737-700 (PMDG)

If you are interested in flying with us, hop over to Charters-Chat channel in the TPC Discord to learn how to apply or contact one of the managers: @charter-managers.

TPC Charters – FAQs

What is TPC Charters?  TPC Charters is the Pilot Club’s virtual airline.  It uses the OnAir 3rd party software (payware).

What is OnAir? OnAir is a massive-multiplayer online world that allow pilots to create their own companies in an interactive, real-time world environment with complex economic rules. It supports all major simulators and aircraft. You can fly anything from a small bush STOL to a heavy jet. We use it as we feel it offers an exceptional pilot career experience much more with typical VA platforms.

What aircraft can I fly? When you first join TPC Charters will rent you an aircraft of your choice, or assign you to a shared one – this now includes airliners! We welcome pilots of all kinds.

Where can I fly?  TPC Charters is based in North America, but there is nothing to stop you flying across the world – OnAir supports operations in all parts of the globe.

Is OnAir easy to use?  OnAir is a complex economic simulator in its own right and offers great depth of immersion – jobs have deadlines and flying using correct SOPs matters.  To help pilots get started we have produced the TPC Pilot Guide – a fully step-by-step manual to get you flying in OnAir as quickly as possible. https://vats.im/charters-pilot-guide

What are the benefits?  Pilots can compete each month to be our Top Gun pilot, earning TPC points and a place in the hall of fame.  We will also be introducing TPC point awards for other activities such as participating in special TPC events and completing jobs large and small for the company.

How do I join?  You will need an OnAir subscription (they offer a 7-day free trial), then head to the TPC Charter-Chat channel and get set up.
